A law firm joins CalcuLegal because it shares our same values, not because it is selected on merit criteria that are not our responsibility. What we do is offer a space where professionalism, deontology, and attention to the person meet in a transparent and measurable way.
CalcuLegal does not evaluate the professional quality of lawyers — that is up to the Bar Association and, ultimately, the citizen. What we value is compliance with shared standards that protect both the person turning to the platform and the dignity of the legal profession.

The values that unite CalcuLegal and its partner firms are not generic good intentions: they are concrete principles that every firm agrees to make visible and verifiable. In this way, we work together to strengthen citizens' trust in the legal profession.

Respect for people's time

Those who turn to CalcuLegal have often just experienced a difficult moment. For this reason, each partner firm commits to providing an initial real feedback within 24 working hours. Not an automated response, but a professional contact that recognizes the dignity of the request.

Enhanced professional secrecy

Health and personal data are protected by forensic professional secrecy (Art. 13 CDF and Art. 622 Penal Code) as well as by the GDPR. The partner firm treats this information with the utmost rigor, in the exclusive interest of the assisted person.

Technical data protection

Access to files occurs exclusively via an encrypted vault with mandatory two-factor authentication (MFA). This technical standard is not a burden, but a concrete safeguard for both the citizen and the firm.

No commercial purposes

The data received through the platform are used exclusively for the management of the requested legal file. Marketing, profiling, or any use other than strictly professional is not allowed.

Independence and absence of conflicts

The firm supports the platform with a fixed annual fee. In this way, the lawyer remains completely free to work exclusively in the interest of their client, without any conditioning linked to the volume of cases.

Every partner firm makes its privacy policy available to the citizen before the transmission of data. The person knows exactly who will process their information and under what rules.

For clarity

Out of respect for the legal profession and to avoid any interpretive misunderstanding, we believe it is essential to state what our service does not do.

It is not a professional merit evaluation. We do not judge the competence of lawyers: that is up to the Bar and the citizen.
It is not a ranking or a leaderboard. There are no stars, scores, public reviews, or rankings on our platform.
It is not an exclusive selection of the "best". It is a space open to all lawyers registered with the Bar who share our values of transparency and professionalism.
It is not a guarantee of outcome. No one can guarantee a priori the result of a legal case. CalcuLegal does not do it and would not allow its partners to do it.

Professional autonomy remains intact
From the first contact onwards

From the moment of the first contact between the partner firm and the user, the relationship is exclusively professional and fiduciary. CalcuLegal does not interfere in any way.

Evaluation and strategy — The evaluation of the case and the determination of the defensive strategy belong entirely to the lawyer, in compliance with deontology and professional conscience.
Mandate and fees — The acceptance or refusal of the mandate remains a free decision of the professional. The determination of fees takes place between the lawyer and the client according to forensic parameters, without any intervention or economic claim by CalcuLegal.
